Bjorn is a computational & systems biologist with a diverse set of experiences in pharma R&D and manufacturing. He previously worked at Silver Creek Pharmaceuticals in San Francisco, CA, using computational models to help engineer regenerative protein therapeutics. Prior to that, he was a modeling and simulation engineer with the RES Group in Needham, MA where he built and optimized organic synthesis reactor models for large pharma API manufacturing. He also spent 2 years at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge MA where he developed image analysis algorithms applied to a new quantitative IHC diagnostic assay used in multiple Phase 2 clinical trials. Bjorn received his Ph.D. from Harvard University in Systems Biology, with a primary focus on computational methods development applied to cancer systems pharmacology.
