Applied BioMath (www.appliedbiomath.com), the industry-leader in applying mechanistic modeling to drug development, today announced their participation in the SIAM Conference on the Life Sciences which was held July 11-14, 2016 in Boston, MA.
Dr. John Burke, PhD, Co-Founder, President, and CEO of Applied BioMath, chaired a session on "Systems Pharmacology Modeling for Drug Discovery" as well as moderated a roundtable focused on Life Science Careers outside the University. Dr. Josh Apgar, PhD, Co-Founder and CSO of Applied BioMath, gave a talk titled "A Systems Pharmacology Approach to Understand Efficacy, Toxicity, and to Optimize Therapeutic Window."
"The SIAM Conference on Life Sciences is a great event for learning about and sharing novel research in the application of math and computational models in the Life Sciences. The SIAM Activity Group on Life Sciences always recruits key opinion leaders as speakers for this event and we were excited to be a part of that group again this year. "
