Andrew Wright completed his BS in Mathematics at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC in 2013. He continued on to finish his PhD also at North Carolina State in 2022. His graduate work focused on mechanistic modeling of the cardiovascular system and modeling of the hormonal menstrual cycle. During his graduate career he worked in conjunction with Merck Pharmaceuticals on modeling the effects of hormonal contraceptives on the menstrual cycle. His dissertation is a collection of two published works and one unpublished work related to modeling hormonal regulation of the human menstrual cycle with regard to follicle waves, stress reaction, and hormonal contraceptive treatments.
