Tim has over 15 years' experience developing mathematical models for biomedicine and drug discovery, with an emphasis on cancer, neurodegenerative disease, and combination therapies. Before joining Applied BioMath, he headed a computational biology lab at the University of Pittsburgh. He also directed the Biomedical Modeling core of the university's Clinical and Translational Science Institute and led the Systems Biology and Modeling team in its Drug Discovery Institute.
Tim received his BS in Engineering Physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his PhD in Physics from the Pennsylvania State University.
